30th July 2008 Windsurfing: Hayling Island Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F3-4 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: 23 Sea Temperature: 18 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Well, got the 5.5 out again for the evening sail, which worked fine for 45m then the wind dropped a bit, so struggled for 15m before quitting somewhat dispirited. One of those "non-flow" days! Did consider going back out on 6.5, but dismissed it and went for a cuppa with B&H, where we discussed stiffness, length and pumping - masts of course! Further reflection revealed I was a silly *rse and should have tried harder with a smile instead of making excuses - the sea is a harsh mistress! |
